Description:

Open Contracts were appointed to refurbish the Rear Entrance at Kingsbourne House and to remove the basement area to create new shower rooms and a bike store.

Scope:

The Rear Entrance was stripped of all finishes and reconfigured to provide better access to the basement area. New metal clad entrance doors with feature vision panels, bamboo and high gloss wall paneling new signage and other finishes were fitted to bring this entrance up to date and more in keeping with the rest of the building.

The basement was completely stripped out and the layout was reconfigured to create space for the new shower facilities. The works involved raising the level of the concrete floor to accommodate for drainage as well as significant M&E alterations. The area was fitted out to a high standard and included new lockers and bike racks.

Comment:

Open Contracts were delighted to have been involved in this project. As more tenants are requesting showers, our client has come up with an innovative way of meeting their needs.
